For anyone who had seen the South American version of the Ranger (also sold in Mexico), I noticed today that they have been given a new grille & new tail lights. Maybe something new on the interior. I still like it. I wonder if you could get that grille in a non-chrome version? :icon_confused: http://www.ford.com.mx/vehicles/homevehicle.asp?idModel=RAN

wow seems like they just need to stop adding plastic to the ranger
that rim design, came on the 98-03 diesel xtl , south american, so its an old design.
the front bumper came from the new mazda bt-50 pickup, the same ranger thai platform,
tailgate and rear bumper is the same as the last north american one, well tailgate is from south too.Fender flares are from south too(04-07)
interior novelty is color, prev one was gray again same interior as 04-07 southamerica.
seems like a riced ranger to me, looks like a teen ride with a fat wide body kit.

and whats with the black mustache under the grille!!! they went out of paint or what??

Went to build and price...the reg cab with plastic bumper doesn't look TOO bad... But I still like the current ones sold here better.

new grille and new headlights...thats an all new truck minus the mirrors. they can keep that thing, its fugly. i like their current ones

Still looks too much like a Frontier, and not enough like a Ranger...

Super ugly front, they should just plant the Ranger front that we have on that one.

:annoyed: im a YOUNG ADULT thats 5 foot 11 i got plenty of room in my truck, but my moms mazda miata:icon_surprised:

And yet, I'm 6' tall & owned a Miata at one time. I fit rather nicely in it. And it was comfortable.
