Skid pad scores are only a piece of the story. You need a suspension that allows you to keep that type of grip over surfaces that aren't ideal. You need a suspension that is tight yet compliant to make the car drivable.
That 30k is the starting price. Find one on the lot with no options for me ok. If you can I'll buy it and I have the cash to do so. For the money, I will buy a BMW 328i that doesn't need all that horsepower, since it doesn't have to come to a stop everytime the roads get bumpy and/or twisty. Or better yet, I'd love to go find a nice used M3 for the same price, that will retain value better and completely destroy all but the best GM car. That would be the Corvette, which would still lose, it just wouldn't be complete destruction.
328i is 37 starting, like I said there isnt a NEW car that gets you the performance of the camaro for the price (the mustang is close).
Its clear that none of you have ever driven a Veta chassis car. They handle really well. Nice and predictable handling, They will step out a little bit in the corner if you get on it but its very controlable. They could shed some weight but its really not that bad, the camaro is what 400 pounds more then a mustang?
