Skid pad scores are only a piece of the story. You need a suspension that allows you to keep that type of grip over surfaces that aren't ideal. You need a suspension that is tight yet compliant to make the car drivable.
That 30k is the starting price. Find one on the lot with no options for me ok. If you can I'll buy it and I have the cash to do so. For the money, I will buy a BMW 328i that doesn't need all that horsepower, since it doesn't have to come to a stop everytime the roads get bumpy and/or twisty. Or better yet, I'd love to go find a nice used M3 for the same price, that will retain value better and completely destroy all but the best GM car. That would be the Corvette, which would still lose, it just wouldn't be complete destruction.
