2010 4x4 Sport no rear sway bar?

Het guys, quick question, my 2010 4x4 supercab sport has no rear bar. I'm the original owner. Its never been messed with. Does anyone know if the rear bar would be worth adding? And which one to install?

Adding one made a big difference on my 2wd 2000.
Made it handle and corner with less sway and body roll.

You can use any that you find on any Ranger in the junkyard.

Be advised that installation will be quite a challenge.
You can't get your hand in there to install the upper bolt/nut by the fuel tank especially if you have the skid plate. I used some putty in a box end wrench to hold the nut. My donor for the sway bar was a 1990.

I played around with its pre-load. I ended up using a LOT of preload to suit my cornering wants. Loosely install it, then push the center hoop up to get it how you like, then tighten it up. It makes quite a difference compared to without pre-loading it.

If you drive 99% street, I'd add one. If you drive a lot off-road, don't bother. It'll leave you with one wheel in the air and zero traction if you don't have the limited slip rear axle.

2010 may have the rear disc brakes and traction control which means it has an open rear differential. It "acts" like a limited slip, applying the brake to the spinning wheel.

My 2000 4wd Off Road package came with both front and rear sway bars. Any sway bar will only help you on the road, not off. Your call.

x2 only good on the road. You have more stability in corners. Off road if you have one you cant flex more than a car. Useless off road.
