My 2011 has a standard cab and a 6' bed. Are there different lengths of rear cables for the longer cab/chassis combos or is it one size fits all? When it's together and work properly about how far should the pedal go down?
I had it state inspected one light and the pb failed. Shop replaced fnt cable (said it was stuck it wasn't) rear cables were rusty which was why the brake light on the dash was not turning off when the pb was released. They sprayed with pb blaster and said keep driving it and it will get better. It did not. Pb pedal goes to the floor and does not hold the truck but pass Pa insp.
I suspect that the driver side cable is stretched or both so just want to get my ducks in a row and order the right parts to do the job. Thinking both cables and couple of couplers. Any other small bits? Will be a little while before I get to it as it's kinda cold out.
Tnx for any sage advice.
