Quick question. 2008 FX4 and I want to change the brake fluid (old and nasty). Id normally vac out the master cylinder, refill with fresh fluid & bleed the furthest line till the new stuff is showing. The 2008, I can't really empty the master. There is no easy way "to the bottom" that I see.. I can barely vac out any. Am I missing something? Some cars have a removable plastic "filter cup" in the master but this does not.
I have a Power Bleeder system so I can force fluid all the way through and out a bleeder, but I'm really not a fan of doing that unless necessary.

Thanks!

You pretty much just have to flush the system by either pushing the fluid through from the reservoir or drawing through on the other end.

for the front you can start by opening a bleeder and fully compressing that caliper. that pushes a lot of the old fluid out.
do both but only 1 at a time, then add fluid as you pump the pedal to push the pistons back out.
not much you can do with the rear cylinders but run a lot of fluid thru them.
