I am looking to replace/ fix my vacuum diaphragm, I am new to ford's. Just looking for some direction. I just bought a 06 ranger and it has been shifting late and a little harsh.

You mean the vacuum modulator on the trans? You don't have one. Your transmission is 100% electronic controls.

Okay thanks. I just read the common problems. Any idea what might be bad on it?

Alright, so I just purchased a 2006 Ranger 3.0l 2wd with 135k on it.

It is slipping between 2-3, Fluid looks very clean. I am planning on taking a few actions after reading around here and a few other forums. Just looking for any input that I can get.

1. Valve Body Gasket / separator plate.
2. Shift Kit( not sure which one I should get, would appreciate some input here)
3. Filters
4. Open to suggestions for other parts I should and need to do to maybe correct this problem.

Starting to shift hard into 3-4 or OD not sure on shift pattern. The OD light is not blinking.
