I have 2005 2.3 ranger about a month ago the slave went So replaced it and the Clutch. Was driving great till a week ago it just went full failure. No gear have to start in gear to move. You can bleed it but after one good pedal its gone again. You think this is a Master problem or did the slave fail again.

Losing fluid? Puddle on the floor driver's side under clutch pedal? Got a drip coming out of the bottom of the bell housing? Have you checked the quick connect? The o-ring in it can hold pressure under push stroke and allow air back in the line on the return stroke. Take a look and let us know what you find.

No Fluid loss. Raining today ill have to look tommorow if the o ring went

Ok So i replaced the master and the Slave rebled got 12 seconds of good clutch and then lost it. It will be perfect goes into every gear then you let off the clutch then go to go again and the entire bleed is gone. driving me nuts Everything in the system is new expect the line that runs between the master and the slave

Its possible you could have a new yet faulty slave. Ive seen it happen several times with my old ford probe GT. and seen several brand new T stats be faulty

Did you use "new" rebuilt or new? I NEVER buy any hydraulic part rebuilt- just isn't worth the few bucks you save- been burned before too many times. If you did use new-new, I would be checking that line connector. Also, did u bench-bleed the master before installing it? Those bastards will trap air if you didn't and will never be right.

I would suspect the line or the connections. You've replaced everything else. I was told to replace everything when I did the clutch. After the battle to get take things apart. I got it from Auto Zone for around 50$ because the original line crumbled upon re- install. I replaced everything from the rear main seal out to the pedal arm. The parts I replaced over a yr ago are still doing fine. It has LUK kit, but the other stuff is from AZ or US Auto Parts. Because it's an occasional use truck, , I'm willing to try using non- Ford parts. About 3k miles and a yr. Truck is doing fine, the clutch is smooth and easy. and doesnt chatter.

I think its the Pressure plate. We watched its not releasing evenly. so time to pull the trans again >.>

But everything is new. All new AC Delco.... I know.... And the clutch and pressure plate is a LUK kit

You do know you have to do certain cranks to make it function correctly right? If you miss it by one crank, it ain't gonna do anything you want it to do...
