2004 Ranger flatbed

Nice!

you got any more pictures of the build? or the finished build from different angles? I didn't know the steel would cost that much. What thickness plate did you use? did you bend it all yourself?
Thanks for the help Josh!
Sorry It’s taken me so long to get back to you I got bit by the corona bug and it’s had me laid up for the last week or so lmfao. All the plate I used on my bed was 1/8 inch. I didn’t do any bending at all it’s all welded with the welds ground smooth with a flap disc. If you have access to a brake it would be a lot easier plus it would look a lot cleaner if you could bend the plate. I’ll try to get some more pictures from different angles here soon I don’t have any on my phone right now.

@josh1236 I finished my build winter of 2021 but forgot to post some pictures. What do you guys think?

Really nice job on the flat bed.

Only thing I could add would be some thing to protect the window, like some louvers or something, and maybe some stake pockets.

Definitely needs some expansion metal or something to protect that back glass

Nice work. It definitely doesn’t look like it was just slapped on there like some home built flat beds do.

I agree on a headache rack or something similar to protect the back of the cab. Some tie down rings might be in order too. Apologies if they are already there and I just didn’t see them.

He's got D rings mounted to the deck.

That thing is as beautiful as it is functional...

Two thumbs up and a snap in a circle from me.
