2004 4.0L Engine and Tranny Swap into a 96?? Possible?

I have a chance to pick up a 2004 ranger with auto tranny and engine 60K for cheap money. Is it feasible to swap the engine and tranny into my 96?? If so whats involved? Whats the differences??
