hey guys,

ok well i am going to make this as short and sweet as possible .

first a couple months ago my ranger started what my mech called lurching. on the freeway at 65+ it would suddenly drop rpms and the regain them almost like it was runnig n out of gas. he determined that the maf was "out of range". cleaned it and we where off and rolling. couple weeks later it did it again so i got a new maf.

now it is pretty hard to start in the morning when its cold out. but its only sometimes. and when i say cold i mean like 40-50s so not really freezing temps.

and then yesterday it lurched again . so i took the maf back and installed a new one. anyhelp would be really apprieciated..

also took it to ford and they can't tall me what it is cause they couldnt replicate the symptoms.

has maye 2000 miles on a new fuel filter and 1 year old fuel pump

thanks

i had the same thing i would loose hp for some reason but he said he unhooked the compresser for the ac i think i will talk to him tonight and find out exactly what he did but now i dont have that problem even in the cold
