I don't see why not, unless you have a single cab. The newer vehicles have space for a set of speakers but they don't actually have a set of wires for the head unit.
Yeah no problem, where did you get your fat mat? I need to get some for my truck. I installed an amp to my speakers and now all my panels rattle like an SOB.
Oh.. I also recommend getting a 4 way amplifier for your truck too!
Found the Fat Mat on Ebay 100 sq ft for about $125. I plan on covering everything including the inside/outside of the doors.
I'm gonna look for a small amp 250-300 but I'm confused on the whole RMS thing, my pioneer head unit puts out 22w RMS. Should I look for an amp that puts out enough RMS to cover the whole 65 RMS of the kickers, or one that covers the difference between the speakers and the head unit???
Plus being in japan for the time being has given me time to think about these things and with 12 days left I cant wait to modify![]()
You can find alot of 6x8 witha 5x7 pattern, however the dimensions of the speaker phsicallywont fit, its more geared towards mustangs. I used 6x9 and just made a mount for my truck. It works well enough, but I aint bangin away with the radio.
