2003 FX4II Towing Yamaha 242

Don't normally post, but thought this would be useful for others. Normally use my 3/4 ton Chevy to tow my boat, but it died on me yesterday and I had plans to get on the lake again today. The boat and trailer weigh about 5,100#'s. I have air bags, 4.88 gears, deaver springs and an upgraded hitch. Trailer has brakes. Definately knew it was back there, but she towed alright considering it was 105 degrees out. Transmission never over 190 and water temp only reach 230 at peak, but cooled down to about 210 as an average. Would not do this as a regular thing, but it can be done.
