Had a misfire in cylinder 6 then changed plugs and wires then moved to 5, it still wouldn’t start, it would turn over but not fire up. Opened the engine up and looked at the intake valves from the fuel injecter sides and it looks like 5 and 3 are stuck open, did compression check before I took it apart and it had good compression in all but cylinder 4 which had 120 rest was up around 180
I feel like I should replace the head, but I want other ideas

i would get it to start before even thinking of changing the head. if compression is good, then 3 and 5 are sealing even if they look like there is some carbon on the seat seal area.

if you spray some start fluid in while cranking, does it still do nothing?

i would make sure you have fuel and all the necessary reaction stuff before worrying about buying new parts. you may have a fuel or timing issue versus a head issue

I have a feeling it’s the timing, I have a gauge to check the timing but why would it be the timing, I don’t drive I to lik a race car and I’ve changed oil every 3 since I’ve had it at 125,000

jsut checking the basics before worrying about buying a head. thats kind of an extreme starting point for a misfire / no start.

if you don't have timing / fuel / fire before changing a head, you will still not have it after and then you will be wondering if you messed up the head swap

working on airplanes, they have flow charts for fixing things and they always start with the easiest tests (fuses, power, bulb, switch, wiring, etc but you get the point)

maybe the timing chain jumped? before you get there though, make sure your spark plug wires are correct.

i always put them on wrong when i do spark plug wires. just to make my day worse and then i have to screw around for a while figuring out i had them out of order

I use NGK spark plugs and wires. The wires are numbered for us dummies

I gapped the spark plugs correctly and had my neighbor who’s a mechanic look at it, even he didn’t know what’s wrong, but that’s what he said timing may have jump tooth. I used motorcraft wires and plugs. And I did wire one at a time but I’m put it all back together and clean it up and re do compression to make sure.
