2003 Ford Focus ZX3 STEEDA

What is this thing?? All the Ford emblems have bee removed and replaced the STEEDA emblems. On the outside, inside and under the hood.

My son-in-law bought it for his 16 year old daughter; but, is having second thoughts. He asked me what I thought and I took it for a drive.

Man, that is the last thing I would get for a 16 year old. It goes like a bat out of hell. Hell, it will chirp the tires going into 3rd at 40. It is the fastest thing I have driven in a bunch of years.

Steeda is an after-market company like Saleen or Roush mostly dealing with Mustangs that have branched out to Focus', Fusion's and the like. I can't find exact specs on it but I think they started with the same DOHC 2.0L that the SVT focus had then, stiffened up the suspension, installed an intake/exhaust and tuned it. I had a 03 SVT and while it wasn't the fastest thing, it was pretty light and went like stink on the twisties.
