does any body know or have don this conversion? im new to the offroad scene and didnt know there was two types of suspension on a ranger. is it worth it to go to a coil spring suspension or stay with the edge suspension?

I'm not sure what you mean by "XLT suspension". I know all the Edge trucks and the 4x4s had torsion bars instead of coil springs, and that the non-edge 2wd trucks had struts. I can't think of any particular advantage of one over the other unless you want to convert to 4x4.

i want to get the camburg long travel but i dont know whats better torrison bar suspension or coil spring.

If I'm not mistaken, the Camburg L/T kit comes with a coil-over conversion, typically all LT kits go to coil-overs due to travel. Ive been looking into the same kit for my '05 EDGE. You can also check out dixonbrosracing.com they have some good prices and sturdy suspension products as well as other upgrades for Rangers.
