Ok guys. I have a few questions. I have an 2002 Ranger XLT 4x4 as many know. I was looking at a suspension lift, but the wife said not right now. It was just out of our price range. I currently have 245/75/16 tires and the goofy factory 2.5 inch lift.

I was wondering what body kits would be best and anything else to help out with adding bigger tires so I can off road better. I know I need new leafs because mine are flat from the previous owner hauling a large ( past the rating of the truck ) boat all over gods green earth.

Thanks. Tony

Summitt.......... that's where I got mine, step by step instructions, came with bumper relocation brackets (an absolute must!!!!) and gap guards (you gotta get gap guards) and watch the ac line, and be ready for a lot more work than you expected or were warned about.

If you want a more aggressive truck....... quick and cheap, 1in wheel spacers (i put them on prior to my aftermarket wheels, but they looked boss with factory wheels) t-bar twist (takes about 12.5 minutes)
it will toughen your truck right up (plus you can use the spacers on an aftermarket wheel) because if your broke your just gonna blow a grand on tires.... then your gonna want wheels.
I got an aries bull bar.... it's a pretty cheap mod to make your truck look better, but honestly none of this is going to help you off road better (except the t-twist)

even a BL doesn't make you off road better.... only the oversized tires they allow will.

yeah, the quickest way to larger tires with the least fund is a body lift and t-twist.....

and when ya ready to wheel, head south a little to Turkey Bay:icon_thumby:

That's why i'm doing the BL for now. So I can have more aggressive tires. At least till I can buy a suspension lift later down the road. I've already cranked the TB. I'm buying the BL kit next week and the tires mid October. :)

Riding around for a month with a BL and no tires and wheels......... will essentially make your truck look like balls.
Just a warning, I know this because my tires and wheels were late being shipped.
Did you replace stock t-bar bolts to get most out of it?

Frank

Didn't say I was installing yet did I :icon_thumby:

I got almost 2 inchs out of the TB crank.
