okay i am wanting a v8 i found one complete but its a 4.6 will this work with out to much of modes. The engine is out of a 2002 ford explorer 4x4 i get everything motor complete with wiring harness and computer and everything pretty much but don't want to buy it if it wouldn't work that would be a $1000 down the hole any one put one in :icon_welder:

you would need the transmission and its computers too plus the transfercase if it was 4x4

There have been a few 4.6 swaps on here and RPS if you do some digging. Don't believe anyone else touched the firewall.

Think these will help.
