2002 ford ranger with 4.0 convert to 4.6 help

okay i am wanting a v8 i found one complete but its a 4.6 will this work with out to much of modes. The engine is out of a 2002 ford explorer 4x4 i get everything motor complete with wiring harness and computer and everything pretty much but don't want to buy it if it wouldn't work that would be a $1000 down the hole any one put one in

you would need the transmission and its computers too plus the transfercase if it was 4x4

got to modify to firewall, wallow out the brake booster holes/pedel assembly, custom engine mounts, modify a/c box etc etc
they used the stock radiator to

There have been a few 4.6 swaps on here and RPS if you do some digging. Don't believe anyone else touched the firewall.
