2002 Ford Ranger Console???

Hi. I recently bought a 2002 Ford Ranger Edge, and it had not console in it. I thought it would be easy to find another one, but I have check everywhere with no luck. The problem is, there is only about 6 inches in between the drivers seat and the passengers seat. No console I've tried is that skinny. I think I need one that is very skinny on the bottom and larger once its above the seats. The only place I've been told I can get one is to go to a junkyard. Does anyone know anywhere else I can go to get one that will fit in my truck, or a certain brand that will fit in it? Thanks. I appreciate it.

Have you tried getting one out of an Explorer (or at least measured for it)?

I have an explorer console in my truck , it is approx 6" wide , fits tight

I have a TUFFY security console in place of the factory console in my '97. 6 inches wide and 24 inches long including the cup holders. Built like a safe and fits like a glove. It'll cost you a couple hundred bucks though.
