this is my wifes car she informed me the other day that the blower in her car is working just when it wants to. she said you can start the car with ac or heater on an it just not blow anything an she said she could smack the passenger side dash an it start workin fine she just would hafto do it again after she stoped somewhere an shut the car off.
Im just trying to figure out weather it would be a blower resistor or the blower motor any input would be helpful!
Thank You

i cant help you, but that sounds reallllllllly redneck...having to hit the door for it to work lol

On Fords, it's usually the resistor. Sometimes it will work on only 2 of the 3 speeds.

the blower motor resistor pack is a crappy printed circuit thing on the later gm's. I believe it's below the glovebox next to the blower motor.
