2002 3.0 ranger

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum been browsing on here for a little bit, can't seem to find what I'm looking for. So heres my question. I have an 02 Ford ranger 3.0, I just recently bought. I have a chance to pick up a parts truck real cheap, its a 99 3.0 flex fuel. Can I put that engine in my non flex fuel? would i have to swap over just the pcm? Thanks
