My 2001 3.0 v6 will start and will run perfectly but then sometimes it will start and run like it is missing if I stop and shut it off and restart it it will perfectly What Gives , It is an auto trans JAY

Could have a bad coil/coil pack.

- Break it right the first time. Fix it better the next time.
Could be a fuel pump issue. My 98 4.0 would go through a faze of me having to prime the pump with a few key turns for a while. Then it would crank up perfect every time and I would not have to prime it for a while. Funny thing is I put a 5.0 in it and I am having to cycle the key again to get it to run right. I know my fuel pump is going out but I am to lazy to replace it right now.
