I've been doing alot of research on this site lately looking for info to help with my swap but i still have all kinds of questions. I've got a 2001 2wd 3.0 auto. I found a good deal on a 302 that originally came out of a 1st gen bronco it is bored .40 over and has a cam in it, i dont know the lift or duration. The plan is to run it as a carbureted set up and to back it up with a c4 auto. Now for the questions, the motor is lacking all accessories which motor and year would be the best to steal these from? which motor mounts to use,oil pan , manifolds or headers i dont think i have much of a choice but what are my options? I still want my chassis harness brake light head lights wippers etc.. is there a way to keep all of this and still have my gauges tach and speedo stock and working? which is the perferd radiator, what would be the ideal trans and from what do i take it out of? I dont have to worry about smog checks in my area. I DO NOT WANT EFI! can i remove the rear abs and still have my speedo work, what do i do with the PATS sytem?
Sorry for such a long post, i just want get this all figured out before i start collecting parts and they dont work. i know alot of you guys have done this before and can help point me in the right direction. all serios replies will be much appreciated

As far as the front end acc's, go with the Explorer ones, oil pan should be the steel one, not the cast alum one. Motors mount plans can be had from Brian B. for the coil spring suspension. Headers comes down to using the junk tube type stock ones or maybe the later cast iron ones or going for broke and and getting the Torque Monsters ones at $750. As far as the wiring, can't help you other than telling you to get a Helm's wiring diagram and see if you really want to go carb'd, I sure wouldn't.

If you don't want EFI then get yourself an older Ranger, it would be MUCH easier. Depending on where you live, a carbed engine in your '01 may not even be legal.
