Hey everyone, here are some big detailed pictures of my 2001(2wd) ranger that i had the engine swaped. if you guys need any detailed pictuers of anything else just let me know.

ps. i was fortunate enough that my stock drive shaft went into my C4 without an issue. but that just depends on how you make your engine mounts(it was pure luck)

I ADDED caption in my smugmug click \/

What did you do as far as motor mounts and what motor did it have in it originaly?

What exhaust manifolds did you find that fit? Everyone has been looking for good fitting options. Yours seem to clear everything.
Dave

Those manifolds look like they are from a 68-69 Mustang or Torino.

Pete

it says falcon on his subtitle with the steering shaft pic

The manifolds are Falcons, but the dirver side points straight down after the steering and the passenger side goes fairly straight back from the engine. And as for the motor mounts the engine mounts are 3/4 Mild steel and custom cut setting the engine as far back as possible. as for the frame mounts, they are Exploder mounts but i forget what year. i remember i bought the 2001 year and they did not work.

Ummm..........

Need some pics of the whole truck & interior shots, but the pic you have of your grill says it's a 98-00 model, the 01-03 grills were different...........

ya know i bought the truck from some one who did prerunner fenders all the way around and by the hoopty suspension that came on the truck i wouldnt doubt that the grill has been changed. i can assure that my truck is a 2001 : )

abit off topic but if i do bigger flared bedsides should i go 35" general grabbers ?

If you run in a lot of sand and can handle a big, heavy tire, then yeah go for it. There's no sand around here, so the grabbers aren't very popular, but all the reviews say they are good. The red letters look cool too :icon_thumby:
