hey guys i was at a junk yard in Pa, on sat. and found a Cash for clunkers 2001 Ext. Cab ranger, it had a 4.0 rhino lined bed, alcoa rims... it was loaded. not a scratch. But The damn Government blew the motor. anyways, i bought the alcoas for $100.00 one was missing a centercap. i also bought the flares for $75.00 i put one rear one on so far, the rear flare came off my 93 relatively easy. so i was wondering how hard the front would be? I had to drill holes for the rear one, bout i was able to save the clips on the 2001 so after holding it up and drilling the holes, it just snapped on, its not to bad. But has anyone else ever done this or seen this? they are the black textured flares.

Thanks,
Trxusrngr

the wheel wells are the same, just pull em carefully seems like ull need to drill new holes.

by the way, i see your ranger is 2WD off road?
u have a locker? im building mine to be some sort of off roader too
and i have eagle alloy rims too lol:D mines are series 063

All to avoid a head on collision. but anyway no it just ahd a 28 spline 8.8 rearend with a rebuild kit (bearings, races, seals)and 4:30 gears. Thanks i will post pics.

Yeah, if you ever find out the users name who bought it let me know! It did pretty good for 2wd it was harder to get through the same stuff 4x4's get through, but it never got me stuck.....

i am furious at that program and retard people who went to it i walked around to the back of a dealer and found a 2003ish 4.0l with a 6IN. LIFT!!!!! it was beautiful he could have gotten more than 4500 bucks for it. please help these trucks get their lives back even if the government is too short sighted to let them rot in a junk yard..... sorry for the rant but it sucks to see this stuff....

what?:icon_confused:
ooh u mean C4C thats a no brainer man, offer "cash" and "new car" and everybody is falling

new cars have no character though, trxus get what you can and it sux they fu**ed the block. i found a truck exactly like mine except it had a 4.0l but the funny thing is only the block itself is bad. so heads, intake, and internals are g2g. someone told me about this so.....awesome

yeah i know, if any pa guys want to know of this yard, its state line auto salvage, its on the Maryland Pennsylvania border. they have explorers, ranger anything else... awesome shape all b?c c4c.....

Hey guys, i now have the drivers side front and rear flares on. i wanted to see how it would go before i take pics of the project. i'll take pics of the otherside, as i install them. i need to get the trim stripping that bushwacker sends with there flares. there is a slight gap on the rear one at one spot so i'm gonna place that stripping around each flar.(it will help protect the paint aswell).. so far good. front actually was better than rear suprisingly...

I WANNA SEE PICS!!!!!!

I've been under the impression that 93-05 fenders and bedsides are stamped with the same set of holes for flares...06+ have their flare mounting holes on a bigger 'circle' around the fenderwell.
