My credo
If you can't go through it or around it, then go over it.
My youngest son has a 2001 F150 4x4 off-road he bought yesterday. It’s a decent truck…. It’s rusted out but for $1000 and it just recently got new brake lines, fuel lines, and brakes and no holes in the frame…. But it’s stuck in 4wd. I can’t see anything behind the transfer case skid plate…. How much crap do I need to remove to get to the CAD and the shift motor?

Its been a long time and it didnt have a skid plate...but i remember it being fairly easy except for changing the plug.
