Hello all, I have used this site before and recieved help...hoping you guys can save the day again.
I have a 2001 B2500 truck and I have a lot of suspension noise coming from the front. It's really loud going slowly and especially in parking garages where verything is amplyfied. The noise can best be described and squeeks and creaks when moving and turning. If I stay still and turn my wheel, not so much, mosly when the truck is moving forward or reverse. I replaced the sway bar links a while back and one looks like it needs replcaing again. So i guess I have a few questions;
1. Any ideas on what the noise is? And I can supply pictures of specific compnents if asked.
2. If when fixing the car, would it be an ideal time to replace anything else in that area?
3. I have done some of my own work before on my truck and others (replacing altenators, belt tensionors, brakes, *the swaybar links*) So, I may ask a follow up question regarding the difficulty in repairing the truck if we can identify the problem.
Thanks in advance! Also, I live in Austin just in case there are any locals in the area.
