2000 to 96 Body Parts Interchange

I have a 2000 Ranger x-cab 2dr, at 319,000 miles the 3.0 engine died and the suspension has got a good bit of wear also, but the body is in great shape. I found a low mileage 96 4 cyl light wreck in the front end, will my front fenders, grill, etc work on the 96? I know the part numbers are different, but will the stuff bolt up and line up. This is a daily driver so I don't mind doing some light modification to make work.
