2000 Ranger Frame

I have a 2000 Ford Ranger 4.0l V6 Automatic 4WD 5speed SuperCab 6ft bed. What year frame will work. On website they have a 2007 frame brand new but I don't know if it will work. I googled all over place and found no answer. Body is in best shape except for the frame

Here is a few in your area. Only the year 2000 came up as a interchange.

Those are from Connecticut and New Hampshire aka junk. I'm from NY. This is the frame and they look all the same part.

There are minor differences between a 2000 SuperCab 4x4 frame and a 2007 one, e.g. the '07 has 10 holes to bolt the box to, while the '00 only has 6. And there similar minor differences around front axle. But nothing which would stop moving from one frame to another. Basically frames for same configuration from '98 to '11 swap.

It is a lot of work though, you better love your '00.

What is wrong with the frame that you're looking for a full replacement?

I don't live in your climate, but I can't imagine something destroying the frame that bad and leaving the body good.

It can happen. My first ranger needed a frame before it needed rockers lol.

Find one from a state that's not colored in. Picking one from one of the lower ones would increase your odds.

A few months back I had to weld a new frame section for the rear spring perch area of the driver's side. About a 14" piece and I heard fairly common issue. The body on my 98 is amazing but lots of the underside components are crusty. As far as I know this thing's been in MD all its life. So I can imagine what the op is talking about. I'm leaning towards a new frame too since I really like this thing.
