Hi I just recently purchased a 2000 ext cab 4wd for next to nothing
My question to others is the following

What options do I have for stuffing a v8 2wd dmotor and driveline in this truck
I just recently completed a 302 swap into my 96 explorer with a manual shift transfer case and it works beautifully
I however want this ranger to be able to do "rolling" burn outs. As immature as that sounds, in my redneck town it wouldn't be anything but a head turner

I have a 4.6 shock 4r70w in my shop with ECM and a 94 302 maf also
I am open to any suggestions not looking for any it cant be done or "that's stupid" I'm merely wondering what has been done and what issues will arise in doing so
Obviously the more cubes the better so if anyone out there has experience in the big lock world that would be definitely appreciated
If I could use my 4.6 that would be sweet but as an option I would like to try a 460cid carbed
Thanks for any input y'all may have

not trying to discourage using parts laying around, but why do 2wd when you can get a 4wd trans and t-case for fairly cheap in junk yards? just a thougt... also, 460 is a big ambition... i think most on here will tell you it will nearly require a body lift of atleast 2 inches, and if you want the truck and its bodylines to match for a long time, consider bracing/boxing the frame

I have a 4wd trams and tcase in my shop as well but as I have a 4wd built explorer I wanted to try a little dragger . as far as frame bracing I had thought about that as I have welder and plasma etc it wouldn't be too much trouble not wanting to body lift more looking more for eventual lowering and deleting the 4wd nonsense
