Yo,
I have been comendeered to work on my mom's 00' altima. Anytime i am driving down the road and either; A) come to a stop, and/or B) depress the clutch while moving. The RPMs begin surging, not drastically, just back and forth from about 500 - 2000 RPMs.

So far I have "cleaned" the MAF (basicly just sprayed it down with come carb cleaner), checked several hoses for cracking and such, and replaced the throttle body gasket, all to no avail.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Yo,
The check engine light was on, but because i don't have access to a code reader here. I started unplugging one sensor at a time and then test driving it. When i unplugged the AAC valve, the light still stays on, but the surging goes away, so i think thats the culprit.

Does that sound right? Thanks!

yeah thats a good way to find the culprit. it would be a good idea to confirm it by going to autozone or something and asking them to read the codes. they do it for free. then go from there.
