I have a friend who is in need of front seats for his 2000 Ford Ranger Supercab XLT. Are there any other years of Rangers that would be a direct fit for replacement other than just the year 2000? Truck location is north east of the Los Angeles Airport, (LAX). Thank You, Darryl

I am not any expert; but, I believe that any like seat from a 98 on will fit. That was the last cab change for Rangers.

Thank You Bert and enjr44.....I'll pass this info on.....I kind of forgot about www.car-part.com.....they'll have to decide on whether they want to drive the distance.....great info.

Thanks again,

Darryl

They show seats around the area.

I have a full set, but Im clear across the damn country so I doubt it would help much

Yeah, I doubt very seriously if this guy wants to pay shipping from across the country. Thanks for throwing that out there though.

Don't think of it as shipping seats across country, think of it as a cross country road trip to meet another Ranger enthusiast and coming back with seats!

AJ, that's a very good analogy.....but I checked out www.car-part.com and if there still available, they're about 300 miles round trip away. Once I tell this guy this and where there located, he'll have to decide on whether or not he really wants them. He's doing this for his girlfriend. So we'll see. Oh, and if he really was a Ranger enthusiast, he'd be on here instead of me. Thanks for the input. I'm just another shade tree mechanic who enjoys turning the wrench.

Wanted to Thank those who chimed in with suggestions and even the enthusiast with the set of seats on the other side of the country. My friend picked up a set of seats from www.car-part.com web site, (Thanks Bert). Paid $150.00 for driver and passenger, arm rest was a little askew, but other than that, they were okay. Keep those wrenches turning.

Darryl

Glad you found some. Thanks for the update.
