Howdy!
First post here but have gained quite a bit of info from you guys since my boy got his 2000 4X4 Ranger.
When we bought it, it had the wiring harness under the drivers seat ruined by some pool chemicals that the previous owner spilled in the cab.
It had many codes and problems caused by that.
I have bypassed that connector and have cleared all codes now and truck runs great except for four wheel drive.
They had removed the t case motor when i got the truck so I got one at Autozone.
Still no 4 wheel drive.
I think that the module that runs it may have been damaged by shorted wire in harness under seat.
I cannot find a 2000 4X4 in any junkyards.
Are there any other models or years that use the same module?
Is there a test procedure that I can do to test function?
I also cannot find a wiring schematic to follow for harness under seat or T case motor.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
