2000 4x4 CM location?

I can't find the 4x4 control module in my 2000 ranger.

4x4High works.

I hear a click when a I turn it to 4x4Low but nothing happens. I want to check the selftest on the module.

don't think the o2 has a test button - the module should be located behind the right passenger kick panel.
