are they really 17/64" or are mine suffering from corrosion or whatever?
9/32 and 7mm were too big.
they mic to .265"
I managed to get them off with a well worn 1/4" tool bit shaft.
any excuse to buy a new tool, but the only 17/64 I could locate was a Blackhawk/Proto open ignition wrench.
part # 3122

Yeah, there is also 4.5 and 6.5 in metric 1/4" sockets.

6.5 comes out as .256" so I guess that's close enough to 1/4".

ordered some new bolts from Ford.
they have 7mm heads, specs are 5mm x .8 x 30
these are supposed to be the same bolts that hold coil packs on modular engines.

note: 5mm x .8 size and pitch is extremely close to 10-32 sae, the metric .8 is 31.75 tpi so it will sort of fit the first few turns.
