2" wheel spacers

they put a lot more stress on the wheel bearings..... but they look cool? how much would you be paying, it matters to see if they are worth it.

do they kill the wheel bearings faster? im still debating on weather to put on the wheel spacers i bought for my ranger. and if they do kill the bearings faster...whats the life expectancy once the spacers are installed?

im going to pay 60 bucks so i want to know how long the bearing will last if i put them on with new bearings

it may or maynot cause them to fail.
where are you getting them for $60? with stud extenders?

yea with studs. but wat other way can i safely extend my fornt width with out paying and arm and a leg

its probably worth it, tell me where your getting them though, i want to get a set. i can always carry an extra wbearing or two!

This is why I will never use wheel adaptors!

I know someone whose friend had a pair and he was driving on the road, down a long straight hill. My friend was following him. Wheel adaptor broke. 36" tire passed the jeep that it was on and smashed into an ambulance that was coming up the hill on its way to a call. He got sued hardcore and no longer has the jeep. They were lucky that no one died.

were these the aluminum ones? they are known for getting loose, and/or breaking

I've got them on my truck and they work just fine. Don't worry about getting sued you're not liable for poor construction of someone Else's work. Other than that you have insurance. Don't let the I have a friend who had a buddy who's brother's friend once heard about a guy stories bother you. They work just fine. They also don't do a lot of damage to the bearings. The ball joins will let out long before the bearings go.

so they are good to go then? im trying to decide on weather or not to put them on my ranger or not and this thread is half and half on good and bad

Is it an everyday driver? It will cause more wear and tear on your front end. Mine are on my off road rig. If it's for off roading I'd say yes with out a doubt. If it's for your DD then realize that it is hard on the ball joints.

what the life expectancy if its a daily driver of the ball joints if i have them on? and mine are 1.5" that i want to put on if that makes any difference
