After an embarrassingly long amount of time reading and rereading the service manual, I'm pretty sure I found the correct replacement ujoints and driveshaft support bearing, but would appreciate confirmation before i place my order. going on a 94 ranger 4x4, 8.8 rear axle.

so the driveshaft support bearing has a spicer replacement option: DANA 2115901X

This one appears to be greaseable. not sure if that is preferred or not. i would imagine so...

then i would need 3 ujoints: DANA 513101X
Bearing Cap Diameter (1) (IN)1.062
Bearing Cap Diameter (2) (IN)1.062

sorry there are no responses , for us both.
I have been given the wrong ones,

apparently there are 2 cap dia's 1 1/16" and 1 3/16" i need the larger, still not certain though and looking for clarification.

for my 94 with 4x4, i believe i ended up going with the Dana 5-1310X for the 3 ujoints. Carrier bearing PN: HB88107A
cheers!

Yeah, I'm not up on part numbers or I probably would have helped before...

The auto parts stores have jumbled data on front axles and a bunch of stuff, mid '90 to '97 is always the bigger U joints and wheel bearings and stuff... they seem to think that Explorers had a Dana 28 at some point which never happened...

Happy to have a masters in ujoints series and cap dia to find out my ranger has 2 1350 series 1 3/16 cap dia at each wheel
And 1 1310 series in mddle which i havecnot seen anywhere ?

There is a mod some people have done that uses D44 outer end parts on the D35 axle assembly. I wonder if someine previously did that on your truck and you may find other parts that are different.

I think mine are the 5-760x which has the groove for the retaining ring to go inside the ears of the yokes. It crosses to the standard 1310 size. I believe there is also a regular 5-760 joint.

greasable non greasable.

those are 760 joints. dana 44 or 35.

the op for rear shaft is either 1330 or 1310.
