I have a 88 ranger 2.9l auto supercab. I have two leaks one leak is from the transmission pan so am guessing i can fix that with a transmission pan seal. The other leak is coming from between the transmission and engine. Would this be a rear main seal leaking or somthing else? and would i have to remove the engine to replace it? The bushing is the sway bar bushing. How hard is it to replace and do you have to take off the whole sway bar just to put the seal on? Also what would be different about the way it drives it i take the sway bar off? thanks.

Pull the tranny out to get to the rear main seal area if that is where the leak is coming from.
