I Transfered The 4.0l Computer And Wiring Harness Attached To The Firewall Side Of A 1991 Ranger To My 1989 Bronco 11. The Donor Vehicle Was An Automatic, Mine In A Manual Shift, Will That Computer Still Work? Do I Need To Get A Motor To Tranny Harness For The 4.0l Or Will The One I Have Off The 2.9l Work? Also, I'm Having Problems Wiring The Harness That Runs Around The Front Of The Motor To The One That I Took Out Of The Donor Vehicle That Runs Along The Firewall. The Two Meet At The Corner Of The Engine On The Drivers Side. I Have Both Chilton Manuals, Neither Identify Which Wires To Hook Up. The 4.0l Will Turn Over But I Don't Have Spark Or Fuel. Help!

wrong forum. needs to be in the engine forums

you need EVERY thing from under the hood for a 4.0 swap...makes it easer....every bit of wire...also you will need a computer from a manual 4.0....or your puter will throw codes
