2.9L swiched to 302....HELP!!!

Hey their,

I have have 1986 Ford Rangeer 2.9L V6
I want to Put a 5.0L 302 in it, But I need a converson Kit Does any one know where to get one??

I have been looking for onw for the last 6 months, Not in depth tho...

Any help is Aprecheated!!!

I don't think theres really a Conversion kit. as its mostly a drop in bolt up, with a few parts such as motor mounts and stuff..

HAve you found the Tech Library..there is a section in there about swaps like what you're inquiring about

Do some reading around in the V8 section on what works. You don't need a kit and usually can save money by not going that route.

Just need -
dual sump pan w/ matching pick up tube
radiator
"90 degree" oil filter relocation kit
exhaust
motor mounts

And that is the start of it. But you can usually find swap kits on sites like Jegs or Summit Racing (or Duff as previously mentioned).
