okay so i put a 302 in my 89 ranger xlt 2wd (ex 2.9/a4ld). 302 turned out to be a complete piece of sh!t and now i NEED the truck so i'm just gonna throw another 2.9 in it. thankfully i didnt mess with any of the original wiring.
so assuming i get a 2.9 with the "engine half" of the wiring harness (wiring for the injectors and sensors and stuff), what years can i use? will an 88 "engine side" harness work with my 89 "chassis side" harness? i know i cant use a MAF 2.9 with my speed density wiring so what years were they so i know what i cant use?
