2.9 Wiring harness question

not sure if im posting in the right place but im looking into buying an 87 ranger single cab long bed 5 speed with the 2.9 only problem is the po lost the wiring harness when he put the 2.9 into it, i currently have a 86 2.3 ranger 5 speed could i make that harness work and run the 2.9? thanks

nope. you need a 2.9 harness
