hey guys my 1986 ranger jsut took a crap and now i need a new motor what should i look for i found a 93 4 banger with dual spark spluds for 200 is it any good and will it be able to bolt right up

Was it big, brown and stinky?

It won't bolt up to the trans, different bellhousing. Also different computer and main harness. The only thing that can truely bolt up, plug in and run - if you're only looking to replace the engine - is another 2.9L unfortunately.

Actually it will bolt up to the trans, but getting it to run will be another matter.

The engine management is VERY different
