I have a 4WD 94 Ranger with a 2.9 V6 in it and I have a 93 Ranger 2WD with the 4.0 in it both have automatic transmissions. I want to put the 4.0 in the 94 and was wondering what I would have to change and how complicated a swap it would be. I've seen in other posts mention of changing the computer which is no big deal but will it matter that the computer for the 4.0 will be out of a 2WD and going into a 4WD or wont that make any difference and what else will i have to do. Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated.
