my mom just gave me her non-running 1989, 2.9, 4x4 ranger so i can part it out. can anyone tell me if the gear ratios are better in the 2nd gens and if the tranny and tranfer case can be swaped to a 2.3 thanks for any info i'll post pics this weekend when i go strip it.
