What would be the best plug wires that I can get for a lower price? Would it be worth the money. I've heard that they will give me about 5+ hp. Is that true?

In my opinion, the only way it would gain any horse power---is if it's replacing the horse power your former cables stole from the engine. You can of course upgrade the entire secondary ignition system and see a gain...but the costs can be a touch high if you are on a budget.
For what it's worth? I'd normally go with either Napas higher end line...or (can't believe I'm suggesting this name brand) The "AutoLite" brand is decent.
Problem I have with the parts house "Store Brand" boils down to quality control. I've been burnt twice by lame connections going to the cap. The companies didn't bend the 90 degree to cap electrical connection in the plug wires...So it always popped off at random times....and in one case? The wire itself was not fully connected to the internal lead in the plug boot.
Just go for a quality name brand set of wires and you should be fine. I personally see no gain of upgrading to a uber-high cost set of wires--for a stock system. That's just me.
