2.9 liter power loss

I replaced a cracked pass side manifold thought that would bring back the power. Truck still won't do more than 40 or so in 5th gear. Could clogged cats be the problem? Any help is much appreciated, thanks. Ken

Have you had the distro out at some point? I have read that the 2.9 will run when distro is 180deg out but lacks power.

Thanks for the input, I didn't take the distributor out though.
