2.9 Liter Exhaust header?

Im looking for a header set for my 2.9 and i cant find them anywhere. are the exhaust manifold the only thing made for the exhaust port pattern?

I dont have the Y pipe, but you can have one made at any decent exuast shop, my local shop told me about 100 bucks

so for about 250 bucks, you have yourself some 600 dollar headers

thanks for the replys they were and are greatly appreciated, i have some sites in my favorites for when i get some money. but what is the diff between the exhaust ports on the 88-89 2.9L to the 91's 2.9L ports?

in the port its self nothing that I know of. The head casting is thicker in the later heads then the early heads.Thats the only thing that I know of..

i believe one has EGR and the other doesnt..not sure which is which.

What is EGR?

exhaust gas recirculation. its an emissions component. headers equiped for EGR will have a threaded hole in them, whereas non-EGR headers are solid.

is it possible to plug the hole if that is the only thing diffrent about the two? cuz nuthing sound worse than headers with a hole

you could plug it...but im not sure if the routing is exactly the same between the two (the headers for EGR might be routed differently to connect properly with the EGR system).

why not just get the right headers for your year?

i looked but all i coud find was for the 88-89 i have a 91. i dont want to use another motor cuz this is the original, and i know that it has not been rode hard. my dad bought it brand new in 91
