Not really a big deal imo, but I'm just wondering what it could be... The idle will fluctuate from 500-1500 on the first startup of the day. Doesn't burn any oil, no smoke, no unburnt fuel, truck runs great. It's been doing this since I bought it and I've had no trouble with it. Stock airbox got removed after I bought it (was broken ABOVE the filter, and the intake hose down to the front of the truck was missing anyway...) so I just plugged the one vacuum line out of the airbox, and the other lead to nowhere that I could see, so I left it. Anyone have any ideas why it does this? It's driving me a little crazy 'cause I can't figure it out myself, even though it doesn't affect anything. Haha!
/edit: It'll idle at about 5-700, then up to 1500 for about five seconds, back down to 5-7 for five or so, then back up to 15 and so on. It's almost like it's trying to choke to warm up, but not quite. After about 45 sec. of idle, it'll level out to a steady 1500 'til it "warms up" I guess.
