You're probably wondering why I'm asking but... will 2.9 heads and lower intake fit on a 3.0. Looking at the smaller compression chamber in the base of the heads, free float rocker modification and headers(which I already have from previous ownership of a 2.9). It just seems there can be more done in the area of heads to exhaust and intake modification with a 2.9 top end as opposed to a 3.0 which always seems to me that its really choked out of having as much horsepower as it could. Firing order is the same which tells me the stroke and cam timing are in the same ballpark so the valve train would not differ.. am I wrong please let me know if I am cuz I would really like to do the mods like the rockers and 5.0 intake to 2.9 lower and a larger throttle body.

No, the two engines are unrelated

Your 3.0 suffers from an unfortunate design flaw. It's a car engine in a truck. Indecently the 5.0 generally has the same problem.
